Armstrong Corporate Headquarters
The Business Units
Armstrong Floor Products: AFP is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and marketing of residential and commercial floor products. Armstrong and
its family of brands -- Armstrong, Bruce® and Robbins® -- offer the most extensive portfolio of flooring products available.
With targeted products for both residential and commercial applications, our portfolio includes resilient sheet and tile, hardwood,
laminates, Genuine Linoleum™, specialty carpet and sports flooring. In 2003, the Armstrong Ceramic line was launched in the
U.S. and Canada to enter the rapidly growing ceramics market. ToughGuard™ vinyl sheet flooring, introduced by Armstrong in
2000 and manufactured with a new process that dramatically improves the durability of residential sheet vinyl, continues gaining
market share and has raised the industry standard for resilient flooring performance. ArmaLock™ and SwiftLock™ locking laminates,
floors that are installed without glue, are also big with “do it yourself” consumers. Genuine Linoleum, the original classic
resilient floor, now considered a “green” flooring product, is making a comeback in the U.S. as architects and designers –
as well as homeowners – require more environmentally friendly building materials that don’t sacrifice color vibrancy and design.
After more than a century, Armstrong remains the foremost name in flooring -- known and trusted for reliable quality, an expansive
offering of colors and designs to meet the personal style of all customers and technological innovations that make lives easier.
Armstrong. Your ideas become reality™.
Armstrong Building Products: ABP is a worldwide leader in manufacturing and marketing acoustical ceilings and suspension systems for commercial and residential
applications. The business mix is nearly 90-percent commercial, with approximately two-thirds in improvement projects and
the balance in new construction, which includes offices, healthcare, education, retail, transportation and other segments.
The residential market, more than 10-percent, is primarily in home improvement and remodeling projects. ABP is the most geographically
diverse business at Armstrong, supported by regional manufacturing and local sales organizations around the world.
Armstrong Cabinet Products: ACP is a U.S. leader in the manufacture and distribution of fine kitchen and bath cabinets and the nation’s largest direct
distributor of cabinetry. The business mix is entirely residential, with 70-percent in new construction and 30-percent in
remodeling and home improvement. In 2003, ACP introduced Armstrong Genuine Allwood™ cabinetry, made of natural all-hardwood
plywood that provides incredible durability and strength. Through its nationwide system of company-owned and independent
distribution centers, ACP provides single-family builders, multi-family builders and remodelers a single source for design,
fabrication and installation services. ACP’s business strategy incorporates innovative product development to provide residential
cabinetry and design services that best meet customer expectations for styling and value.
